This is for the young man who did show up after the guy yesterday was so late that I rescheduled. I understand he had a problem with the place before me so I didn't mind rescheduling. So he was very professional and helpful but he didn't have the replacement we needed. We paid him 275.92. He said someone would come out and replace it. I certainly hope so after 2 days now 3. We paid for the service in advance. I really didn't like that. He was very nice and I will give him a good evaluation . Hope to hear from you soon.

I am disappointed with this company. I was quoted a price on the phone to install a garage door opener that I purchased. Whenever the tech got to the house, I was told the cost would be approximately $200 more than what I was quoted on the phone. I was told that this was because I was to be charged $125 an hour for a minimum of 1 hour for labor cost. At the same time, I was told that it would be cheaper to purchase their garage door opener (which was a Linear model with less features) and have it installed for cheaper. I felt like my hands were tied at that point and went with that option. After the install, I called back to make sure that I did not misunderstand the quote. I was told that there is a $49 service fee and the $249 installation fee included the labor (which was accurate. The quote I received at my house was about $496. There was no additional work that was going to be needed for the install so there was no reason for the additional labor cost. Ultimately I got swindled. I talked to the local rep who wanted to make it right but there was nothing really to be done other than them giving me a free keypad. The tech was super nice and professional however, it felt like this was a modified bait and switch tactic. I was told this is how they were trained (add the labor). I will not be using this company again. I was told that other techs have been taught incorrectly and incorrectly charge labor when they shouldn't. I wonder how many other customers that have purchased a garage door opener decide to take it back because the option they present with the linear brand that they carry winds up being cheaper. Very unfortunate chain of events.

This was the first time your tech was sent out to install a customer-provided operator, and he misunderstood how to properly quote. The tech is now aware of how to handle and properly quote.
