Our garage door opener went out in very the weekend. I called to get an appointment and the representative on the phone was very nice and helpful the appointment was very easy to obtain. I want to thank Precision for being there during my time of need. I made my call and April took my info, and got the ball rolling. She said I could expect tech. the same afternoon. Within minutes Lori contacted me and said Michael was in my area and could stop over. Information was shared and shortly after Michael called and said he was on the way. Michael was great. He analyzed the situation, got a quote, and within minutes he was repairing my garage door. Michael did a great job. Door is much stronger and works like new. Super job by all. Precision can be very proud of their employees. I am very impressed. Precision knows what they are doing and the ones working for Precision are phenomenal employees. Joe Baggett did an excellent job. He explained everything well so that I could understand why the garage door needed a new motor. He went over all options and then I selected the choice that best met my needs. Once the motor was installed he went over everything he did in detail and showed me how to operate the remote. He also set up the remote to work from my car. I appreciate the service he provided. It was excellent.

I am disappointed with this company. I was quoted a price on the phone to install a garage door opener that I purchased. Whenever the tech got to the house, I was told the cost would be approximately $200 more than what I was quoted on the phone. I was told that this was because I was to be charged $125 an hour for a minimum of 1 hour for labor cost. At the same time, I was told that it would be cheaper to purchase their garage door opener (which was a Linear model with less features) and have it installed for cheaper. I felt like my hands were tied at that point and went with that option. After the install, I called back to make sure that I did not misunderstand the quote. I was told that there is a $49 service fee and the $249 installation fee included the labor (which was accurate. The quote I received at my house was about $496. There was no additional work that was going to be needed for the install so there was no reason for the additional labor cost. Ultimately I got swindled. I talked to the local rep who wanted to make it right but there was nothing really to be done other than them giving me a free keypad. The tech was super nice and professional however, it felt like this was a modified bait and switch tactic. I was told this is how they were trained (add the labor). I will not be using this company again. I was told that other techs have been taught incorrectly and incorrectly charge labor when they shouldn't. I wonder how many other customers that have purchased a garage door opener decide to take it back because the option they present with the linear brand that they carry winds up being cheaper. Very unfortunate chain of events.

This is the second time I have use Precision Door service. Johnathan was on time, did the troubleshooting, and the 25 point safety inspection to accurately diagnosis my problem and gave me the quote. He did a fantastic job! He left my residence clean like he found it, even programmed our equipment. I love the new equipment, it's so quiet and smooth. Booking online or with the chat option is very easy. The turn around time is nice also. This is the only company I use for service and repair for our garage door needs.
