I needed an electric gate repaired. I was told by phone that it is $125 service call. While this seems steep, I understood this and assumed they would diagnose the problem and then estimate the repair cost. When he was finished, the repairman said it would be $399.95 for the day! I was shocked and unprepared to pay this; I wanted a diagnosis so that I could decide if it was worth repairing. And although I ended up with a probable diagnosis, I didn't fully have a repair; I still had to buy more stuff to repair it. I was apparently misquoted on the phone. The service call was actually $250 and then hourly labor after that. And when he finally figured out what the problem was, it was because I dug out the manual combined with him sitting on hold with the manufacturers tech assistance. I could have done that for $0 myself. The repairman was very nice, empathetic, and hardworking and he did reduce it to $299.95 since I was misquoted the service call, but still a complete and total ripoff. Will never call again. I guess that's what you have to expect from a large operation like this. Disappointment.

Their tech Tommy came out on Thursday morning after the 1-22-25 generational blizzard with 8" of snow! He was very nice, professional, and explained everything that would happen and why then answered any questions I had.

We had a small problem with our electric gate. When closing, there was a 12" gap. Precision sent their technicians who adjusted the opener so the gate fully closed. They were thorough, efficient and very helpful. We would recommend Precision very highly and have to many of our friends.

Excellent experience. We called Precision Door to install a roll up door on a pole barn, as well as adjust one that was already installed. Communication was excellent throughout - called prior to arrival and was able to complete the job ahead of schedule. The quality of work was excellent. I really cant believe I was invited to complete a survey. I requested a consultation, technician came out and we spent over an hour discussing my need for 2 doors and openers, agreed on pricing, and also agreed that he would perform the work when no one was at our home. The day before the scheduled appointment I received an e-mail confirming the appointment. About an hour before the appointment time I received a voice mail from a different technician, whom I had never met or talked to, informing me that he would be at my home in an hour to do the work. I immediately sent a text message to the technician that I met with informing him of the voice mail and asked him if he would be there as well. He said no, that HIS MANAGER PULLED HIM OFF OF MY JOB AND SENT HIM ON A COMMERCIAL JOB. How nice! I immediately cancelled the order thru your website and proceeded to look alsewhere for a door supplier/installer that actually gives a damned about their customers. You guys really stink. I have been in sales/customer service for 30 years and the way that you handled this is EXACTLY THE WRONG WAY to treat a paying customer. Maybe the $3100 order was simply not enough to be treated in a decent way. It resulted in messing up the schedule for painting, but, and this is the only good part, I ended up with BETTER equipment and a LOWER PRICE. Word of mouth is powerful. I will be certain than I steer anyone needing garage doors away from your pitiful little company. The truth CAN hurt.
