I chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service based on previous events in repairing my garage door. They have always done a good job. They were very knowledgeable and repaired/replaced components as needed, and provided maintenance tips to help keep good performance of the door. The serviced performed today was an attempt to stop the door from sticking. It is stuck in the up position. The technician, Shaun Byrd, evaluated the problem. It was determined it would be more beneficial to replace the motor system and the door. The motor is about 10-12 years old and the door was installed in 1986. I agreed with his assessment. He then very patiently showed me the options for my new garage door and explained everything about the process. I highly recommend Precision for your garage door needs.

I called and was scheduled an appointment within 2 days; great! My technician Cameron was absolutely OUTSTANDING! He quoted me prior to any work, explained in detailed the issue, provided a walkthrough of what he would do to remedy the problem and then fixed it.... that day. This included the replacement of a 10-12 foot bar I assumed would require me to make another appointment for him to replace. No, he came prepared with all tools and parts needed to complete the job without a repeat visit! Job WELL DONE A++! I felt secure leaving him unattended in the garage to finish the work and when I walked into the garage I always found him working, not on his phone like other repairmen I have had. Cameron was professional and courteous. He was not annoyed that I asked questions and even made suggestions about future repairs that I could make to avoid costly ones later down the road, like preventative maintenance. I have no idea if this is company training or just a good technician. Judging by the rating other customers have given though I can safely assume this is mostly good hiring techniques and training in combination with a great tech. My only regret is I did not call them sooner and that they do not build storage sheds. I will be recommending this company, specifically Cameron, to anyone needing garage door installation or repairs. I hope they let me know if they build storage sheds in the future and other honey-do stuff I was tasked with by the wife

Our technician, Tommy, actually arrived early and called ahead to get an OK. Upon arrival he explained in detail why he was there and what our options were along with the costs. We chose to go ahead with the annual inspection and lubrication of the springs and anything else needing the same treatment. He was very thorough as he progressed through the inspection and both explained the what and why of his actions along with answering any questions we had. He did a very professional job for a reasonable price.

Ross is an absolute genius when it comes to Overhead doors! We had 60 14'x12' doors installed and he was there day and night to answer questions and ensure everything went smoothly. He was physically there everyday working alongside his crew and did a phenomenal job getting the doors perfect.
