My garage door (installed in 1994) broke on February 12, 2014, and I called Precision Door Service. The original crew that came out had not measured correctly and the door did not fit. They went to Pensacola and got one the same day-- they (two men--Chris and ?) finished the job before dark. Had to call them back to do some minor repair a few days later. These past 2 1/2 months since the installation, the door has been making VERY loud noises each time the door was closed. I went off around 3 PM yesterday (4-28 ) and the door closed properly. When I got back at 8 PM, the door did not go all the way down (up about 12"-15" from the garage floor). I called your company immediately,told them the problem, and the lady said they'd be here today between 12-2 PM. Your representative, Van, arrived right around 2 PM, and he told me that there were LOTS of problems as to how the door had been installed, and he pointed out ALL of the mistakes. I was appalled!!!!! He said he needed a good hour to make the corrections. When he was finished, the door went down smoothly with hardly any noise, and areas where the light had shown through were now closed. He again pointed out all of the MANY things that were installed improperly and how he had fixed them. He's very knowledgeable, and I appreciate what he did for me today. I highly recommend him. I hope that I won't need any further repairs as this was a complete garage door replacement.

Five Star all the way! Scott was wonderful, and keeping to his other reviews of wanting to arrive early! Really, who ever hears of that? He was hardworking, explained several options to me, and fixed the problem with better skill than I had seen from others before (another company). The broken spring caused some damage to how it was hung, and he repaired all, including bolstering up the wall and making sure that it was "better than ever!" I loved it that my call was answered on a weekend, as I couldn't get my car out of the garage at all, and I was fine with the first morning appointment the next day. The operator was pleasant and apologized that she wasn't sure she could get me in Sunday afternoon! I told her I knew it was Father's Day and didn't want to mess up the techs holiday, I just wanted too know I was on sked with someone! She actually thanked me for being so considerate. (The other company didn't even call until the next morning, and I let them know a tech was already on his way..early! ) I would definitely recommend this company, and I will ask for Scott again, we are considering upgrading to a newer, quieter opener and he will be who we call! Thank you for a smooth process from start to finish!

We were impressed with this company starting about 6:30 am this morning when I was looking online for someone to repair a garage door. The website was impressive and eye-catching. When I saw live-chat, I said to myself " yeah, right.." and then someone immediately answered and offered to help. They collected all of our information and agreed to come when we could get home late this afternoon. They called before they came and showed up on time!!!! My husband is not easy to impress and I drove up from work at six pm... I said " where are the garage door people?" He said... they were great and very good at what they do. Prompt service-same afternoon in our case. The technician was a polite, well spoken young man who was very good at explaining the issues and alternatives for repair vs. replacement. We chose replacement since lightning had badly damaged our opener. He had the new unit up and working within two hours. He cleaned up his packaging and took away our old broken unit, explained everything, and offered to help program our vehicles to the new opener. We will use this company again when needed.
